Some albums are built around a musical style. Others begin with a concept, a visual identity or a collection of songs that work well together. INSIDE, the new album by Kenia Stone, began somewhere much more personal: in the emotions we often experience but rarely know how to explain.
Created and developed at Versiona Studio, INSIDE is a thirteen-track journey through vulnerability, connection, fear, memory, healing and personal responsibility. It is not an album that tries to hide difficult emotions behind perfect answers. Instead, it allows them to exist, giving each one its own voice, atmosphere and space.
From the beginning, our intention was clear. We did not want to create a collection of disconnected songs. We wanted every track to feel like part of the same emotional world while still having its own identity. Each song represents a different moment in an internal journey: the need to be held, the fear of falling, the pain of losing someone, the warmth of being understood and the difficult decision to begin again.
The album opens with “Inside”, the song that gives the project its name. It introduces the central idea behind the entire record: what happens within us is not always visible from the outside. A person can appear calm, strong or completely in control while carrying an intense emotional world beneath the surface.
That contrast became one of the foundations of the album.
Thirteen Songs, One Emotional Journey

Although every song explores a different experience, they are connected by a common question: how do we continue moving forward without denying what we have lived through?
“Hold Me Close” focuses on the need for genuine human connection. It is not about asking another person to solve everything. It is about the comfort of knowing that someone is willing to remain beside us when words are no longer enough.
“Fire” introduces a more intense emotional energy. It represents the feelings that refuse to remain hidden and the moment when internal tension finally becomes impossible to ignore.
Other songs approach vulnerability from quieter perspectives. “In Your Quiet Light” explores the power of a calm and compassionate presence, while “Growing Roots” reflects on stability, belonging and the slow process of building something that can survive difficult seasons.
“I Don’t Want to Fall” is one of the most vulnerable songs on the album. It speaks about invisible pain and the fear of losing control when the body or mind can no longer respond in the way we expect. The song does not attempt to turn suffering into something beautiful or easy. Its strength comes from its honesty.
“I Won’t Let You Hurt Alone” continues that emotional conversation from another perspective. It is a promise of companionship, but not an unrealistic promise to remove another person’s pain. Sometimes love is not about fixing someone. Sometimes it simply means refusing to abandon them.
The album closes with “It Starts With Me”, a song about accountability and change. After exploring pain, relationships, memories and fear, the final track turns inward. It recognises that healing cannot depend entirely on another person. Real transformation begins when we accept our own role in the process.
The Sound of INSIDE
Musically, INSIDE combines elements of soul, blues, jazz, rock and contemporary R&B. Warm piano and Rhodes arrangements form part of the album’s foundation, accompanied by deep bass, subtle guitars and restrained percussion.
However, the most important instrument throughout the project is Kenia Stone’s voice.
Her low, textured and vulnerable vocal style gives the songs a human quality. Breaths, pauses and small imperfections were not treated as problems that needed to be removed. They became part of the performance. The objective was never to make every moment sound technically flawless. The objective was to make every moment feel emotionally true.
The production follows the same principle. The arrangements leave room for the lyrics and vocals instead of filling every second with unnecessary sound. Some tracks grow gradually towards a restrained climax, while others remain intimate from beginning to end.
This balance creates an album that feels cinematic without becoming distant. It can sound expansive, but it always remains close to the listener.
A Visual World Built Around Emotion
The visual identity of INSIDE was designed as an extension of the music. Warm black, deep brown, aged gold, champagne, ivory and sepia tones define the project’s aesthetic. The lighting is intimate and cinematic, creating a world that feels elegant but never artificial.
Each cover, video and visual piece belongs to the same universe. However, the images do not simply illustrate the lyrics literally. They are designed to communicate the emotional weight of each song.
In some videos, that emotion appears through enclosed spaces, distance or restrained movement. In others, it is shown through everyday details, changing light or the physical separation between two people. The objective is always the same: to make the audience feel something before everything has been explained.
More Than a Virtual Artist Project
Kenia Stone is a virtual artist, but INSIDE is built from real creative decisions and real human emotions.
Behind the project are writers, directors and creators making choices about every lyric, arrangement, image and performance. Artificial intelligence is part of the production process, but it is not the origin of the emotion. Technology provides tools. Human beings provide intention, experience and meaning.
